Train in Classical Pilates Mat the way Joseph Pilates intended — taught through the original system passed directly from Elder Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph’s protégé and the teacher who trained Suzanne.
This intensive offers four structured classes over four consecutive days. Each class builds on the one before it so your body has time to learn, organise, and strengthen through the full Classical sequence — rather than starting from scratch each week.
This approach helps you:
Build a strong technical foundation
Understand the order and purpose of the exercises
Feel how the method progresses logically
Improve consistency, stamina and control
Gain confidence with transitions and modifications
Whether you’re at the beginning of your Pilates journey or working at Intermediate/Advanced level, these progressive classes give you time and repetition to absorb the work properly.
Class Options
5pm – Beginners / Foundations / Basic
Perfect for those new to Pilates, those returning after time away, or anyone wanting a stronger understanding of technique and safe modifications. We build the foundational repertoire progressively each day.
6pm – Intermediate / Advanced
We begin with the full Intermediate sequence and progressively layer toward the Advanced work by Day 4. For experienced movers with a sound body and prior Pilates experience.

Why a 4-Day Intensive Helps
This structure gives your body enough time, repetition, and progression to truly understand the Classical work.
Instead of a weekly drop-in approach — where momentum is lost between sessions — you’ll experience how each exercise and transition supports the next one. This makes your regular Pilates practice stronger, safer, and more structured.
You’ll walk away with:
A clearer understanding of technique
Better organisation through your centre
More confidence in the repertoire
A deeper appreciation of what Classical Pilates actually is.
What Students Say…
“This class is great for core strength, posture awareness and improvement, and for toning. Suzanne offers variations of the movements to suit individual needs and gives very clear instructions and explanations of the purpose/benefits of various movements. Suzanne also offers lots of encouragement and reassurance. The small group size is conducive to each individual receiving attention and guidance as needed. The fact that everybody is different is recognised; there is no expectation that all will perform at the same level. Don’t assume that this class is a “soft” option or just an easy version of pilates. On the contrary, it is challenging. And effective.”
